The unit patch of JGSDF is some of the very unique design in the word, in the patch not just only indicate the unit, but also shows the branch color on the upper part of it, if you see numbers on the color, that means the subordinate unit of this unit, usually is a army corps or above, division or brigade.
This patch is JGSDF new organised CRF, that means central response force, an quick response unit to reday for international missions.
